It's been a long time

Well friends, it's been a long time.  A lot has happened since my last post (almost 2 years ago!).  I am now married and have a new employer amongst other things.  Anyway, enough about me!  I just wanted to let you all know that I will be back at it with the posts and ideas for new projects very shortly!  We have so much new and excited product that I want to share with all of you, so I can't wait!

Gift Set #2

Here's another example of a cute little gift set that can be sold at a craft fair or given to someone as a gift.  I used the Sweet Stems stamp set to make these.  The ink and cardstock colors were whisper white, StazOn black, Barely Banana, Almost Amethyst, Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink and certainly celery.  The ribbon is So Saffron and the box was purchased at Goodwill.  Thanks for taking a look!

Gift Set

This is a fun and easy gift set I made to sell at craft fairs.  There are four cards in each color/saying, so 16 cards total.  They are 3"x3" note cards with matching envelopes.  I think this makes a cute gift set.  I used the Upsy Daisy stamp set and the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set which are both available currently.  Upsy Daisy is definitely one of my favorites!  The sayings I used are: Thank You, Thinking of You, Get Well Soon and Happy Birthday.  I used Whisper White, Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Rich Razzleberry cardstock and inks.  The colors are all out of the new Stampin' Up! In Color collection.  I added a little of the Linen Thread to add demension.  I found the wooden box at a Goodwill store.  Thanks for looking!

Birthday Wishes

I thought I would start my new blog by showing one of my more recent cards. All products used to make this card are Stampin' Up! products. I used the Heartfelt Thanks (retired) stamp set and the Sincere Salutations stamp set for this project. I used Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip and Sahara Sand cardstock; Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive ink and Versa Mark ink. For embelishments, I used a tiny piece of Old Olive ribbon and one of the Chocolate Chip 1/2" Library Clips. The Versa Mark ink stamped onto the background and the Eyelet Punch added a nice touch for layering. I got the idea for this card when attending regionals in Minneapolis this year. I love using the 2 Step Stampin' sets we have, so this card was a lot of fun to make!
